Concurrent Enrollment Policy

Background:  The Workforce Investment Act (WIA) of 1998 was enacted to consolidate, coordinate, and improve employment, training, literacy, and vocational rehabilitation programs in the United States.   Subpart E 664.500 allows youth to be served in both youth and adult/dislocated worker programs concurrently, provided that they are eligible under the youth or adult/dislocated worker eligibility criteria applicable to the services received.

 

Policy:             Oswego County and the Career Connection may enroll individuals in more than one program where such enrollments benefit the customer, maximize resources and do not adversely affect program performance.
