	Funding Agency: Oswego County Employment and Training Who gets the money: goes directly to the school or provider Amount: the cost of the training not to exceed $5,000 What can the money be used for: training Eligibility: Must make below $18 per hour; must also show that there will be an increase in pay How to apply: go to the Career Connection Centers to apply
	Funding Agency: STRAP (Strategic Alliance Program) Who gets the money: training provider Amount: depends on the training and what the training is for What can the money be used for: The training needs and costs are defined by the employer and are reviewed by both agencies for reasonableness and appropriateness.  These funds cannot be used for the acquisition of training equipment or for capital expenditures.  While there is no award limit, all requests for funds are tested on a cost-benefit formula.
