Franchise Designation

 

 Whereas the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 requires a customer focused, quality driven workforce development system, and

 

Whereas the Workforce Development Board, Inc. of Oswego County has developed a process for identifying agencies of quality which have embarked on the continuous quality improvement journey, and

 

Whereas the Workforce Development Board, Inc. of Oswego County has named the process of franchising quality agencies Career Connection, and

 

Whereas agencies that want to use the Career Connection logo must apply for the designation and achieve a favorable rating from the Evaluation and Franchise Committee of this body, and

 

Whereas the Oswego County Employment & Training, Fulton Office applied for Career Connection designation, and

 

Whereas the Evaluation and Franchise committee reviewed the application, made a site visit and rated the Oswego County Employment & Training, Fulton Office as embracing continuous quality improvement,

 

THEREFORE LET IT BE RESOLVED, that on this day March 20, 2002, the Workforce Development Board, Inc. of Oswego County hereby franchises the Oswego County Employment & Training, Fulton Office as a Career Connection One Stop Center, and thereby bestows all the authority and recognition corresponding to this esteemed status.
